Miniature Print Exhibition: Football
FOFI has been working with a number of artists and designers to produce a show of limited edition prints that respond to theme of football. The exhibition has been organised by UWE (CFPR Research Fellow) Paul Laidler who invited a select group of UWE partners alongside staff and students from a range of creative disciplines within the Department of Creative Industries at the University of the West of England. The response to the exhibition invitation has been truly overwhelming with around 33 individuals contributing from BA Illustration, BA Graphic Design, BA Fashion, BA Photography, MA Printmaking, Fabrications Department, Library, Epi Centre and members of the Executive.
The miniprints are highly collectable works of art that are signed by the artist and sold individually at £25 each (unframed).
The format for the prints is a set paper size of 20 x 25 cm, and a maximum image size of 10 x 8 cm. Each artist dictates the specific response to the theme of football, and prints are produced in a limited edition of 11.
The exhibition will be on display at @Bristol and the Beatroot Cafe on Park Row throughout the festival and for the duration of the World Cup.
